In regards to the before and after comparisons to last year’s observations, “The combination of high water temperatures, low salinities, low irradiance levels, and high epiphyte abundances seems to have resulted in the low biomass and productivity” was a finding as a result of a study done in Florida from April 1995 to August 1996.
