Last week I had a chance to visit Brown University and led a simulation on managing the Atlantic Striped Bass (one of my very favorite fish) as part of my friend Professor Ross Cheit's class "The Politics of Food."
The exercise was based on work that I did with my marine science and public policy classes at Boston University - and will form the basis for a case study that I hope to have completed later this year.
Thanks to all of you who helped, and thanks to Ross and the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Public Policy and American Institutions for inviting me to Brown!
You may find their class blog interesting: I know I did.
You can find it at The Politics of Food
And you may find this Green Blog entry by Beth Daley of the Boston Globe interesting as well.
