HARBOR BOAT TRIP

Even with temperatures close to 100 degrees I found the boat trip a refreshing experience. It was exciting to see the beautiful island that were just shapes on the map we studied. I have lived here all my life and I have never taken a boat trip to any of the Harbor Islands. It was wonderful to hear how some of the islands were developed and how the harbor waters were brought back to its original unpolluted state.

It was a very busy place from people fishing or just riding the waters in their boats it was a little hard to keep focused on why we were there. It was interesting to see how some of the islands had a community of homes on them and others were unpopulated, or used as a place for summer get aways and the most interesting were the ones that only housed industrial plants on them. These islands were so green and lush it seem like a crime to put these plants on them. It as fun to find out how the egg plant processed the waste.
