I'm Ann, and I'm excited to take this class because I love knowing about the places where I live, and am especially intrigued by the complexity of the Harbor. I know some about the Chesapeake Bay because I used to live there (shout out to the person from Baltimore!) and am interested to learn how Boston Harbor is similar and different from the Bay.
Welcome to Snails to Whales, Bruce Berman's Boston Harbor blog focused on both the little and the big things that make Boston Harbor such an extraordinary place to live, work and play. It is also a place for my Boston University students and my colleagues at Save the Harbor / Save the Bay to share their work and experiences.

Don't worry, Jordy, you weren't the only late person, just the last late person.

If you still have that rod and jig, you can catch some very large striped bass on Boston Harbor
That's certainly good to know, but unfortunately that wasn't my equipment. I was in Minnesota at the time and using a friend's stuff. That doesn't mean I won't buy some of my own in the future, though!
