Welcome to Snails to Whales, Bruce Berman's Boston Harbor blog focused on both the little and the big things that make Boston Harbor such an extraordinary place to live, work and play.
It is also a place for my Boston University students and my colleagues at Save the Harbor / Save the Bay to share their work and experiences.

"Go to the Beach" Group Posting.
This is what we had the opportunity to observe today!! Lot's of interesting "moving" stuff. Elizabeth, Carole, James and Fred.
Our group made some fun some, creepy finds. I did not like the worm that crept out of the clump of "biomass". We found seven plant species and we counted no fewer than 18 different living creatures. We may have found more but we are not yet sure of all that we saw. It is also possible that we saw the same species in different stages of life.
This was very interesting. We got to see a lot of cool animals and plants that live around boston. It was a great experience working as a group trying to figure out what these plants and animals were.
